Funeral services for Richard Sautter, 74, 608 Fifth Street, who died in a local hospital Thursday morning, November 9, 1967, will be conducted a 2 p.m. Saturday in the Calvary FUB Church at Seventh St. and Rosser Ave. with the Rev. Ira Herzberg officiating.
Pallbearers will be Robert Chesrown and Charles Lang, both of Linton; Oscar Gehring, R.W. Payne, William S. Miller and Clarence Fetzer, all of Bismarck. Burial will be made in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Sautter was born Oct. 25, 1893, at Artis, South Dakota, and received his education there and at Linton where he moved with his parents in 1909.
He was married to Elsie M. Godfrey Oct. 24, 1914 at Linton and they lived there until 1949 when he retired from his produce business, which he opened in 1915 and moved to Bismarck.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Sautter leaves three daughters, Mrs. James (Luella Sautter) Tuttle, Jamestown; Mrs. Orin (Loretta Sautter) Markert, Garrison, and Mrs. Eileen (Sautter) VanderVorst, Britton, South Dakota; three sons, Ronald R. Sautter, Portland, Oregon, Neil Sautter, Linton, and Harry Sautter, Pierre, South Dakota; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He also leaves four sisters, Mrs. J.J. (Bertha Sautter) Kremer, Bismarck; Mrs. Alvina (Sautter) Graf, Cloquet, Minn.; Mrs. Martin (Lena Sautter) Weber, Eureka, S.D. and Mrs. John (Esther Sautter) Sahli, Neenah, Wis., and two brothers, Robert, Oakland, California and Walter, Bismarck.
